Our laboratories are fully equipped for carrying out genome and transcriptome analyses:

- Automated isolation of DNA and RNA from blood and tissue samples

- Quantification and quality control of nucleic acids

- Equipment for high-density genotyping using SNP chips (Illumina HiScanSQ)

- Equipment for carrying out quantitative PCR

- A system for cost-effective simultaneous expression measurement on numerous samples and gene loci (Fluidigm Biomark with various IFCs) can also be used.

For analyzing high-resolution SNP marker data and for developing and testing prediction models for genetic values, external high-performance computers can be used in addition to the department's well-equipped PCs.
